It feels utterly foolish to lose himself in front of another like he is, especially one not of the Convocation, but it seems that Elidibus truly can't help himself. It's as though he can no longer hold all the weight he's been carrying, faced with a loved one now as he is. The past returns to him, as well as the harsh reminder that he failed to save it.

But he is nothing if not resilient, and manages to calm himself a bit, breath slowing as he wills the tears to stop falling, even if a few still escape silently down pale cheeks.
